Real Wedding: Kerry and Jp

Kerry and Jp are a beautiful Johannesburg-based couple who decided to get hitched down in between the incredible mountains and vineyards in Stellenbosch. In front of their closest family and friends, these two lovebirds said "I do" beneath a gorgeous floral gazebo with the incredible Stellenbosch mountain range as their backdrop. Illuminate Photography captured the romantic celebration, and every photo in the gallery makes our heart skip a beat. From the stunning views and the rustic, elegant table settings to the bride's stylish fitted gown and wild bouquet, this Stellenbosch wedding was one for the books.

Kerry and Jp wanted a mix of neutral colors with gorgeous pastels. It was fun to design a rustic but elegant look using this color palette, as these colors work so well with the natural wood and beautiful natural surroundings of the ceremony. We were able to bring in Tulips, Proteas, and large headed Garden Roses, mixed with beautiful foliage such as Eucalyptus and Fynbos. Using beautiful naked bulb lighting and fairylights, as well as gorgeous textured linen on the raw wood tables, we were able to achieve the luxury rustic elegant style that the couple was hoping for. It was absolutely romantic.

It was such a beautiful experience being a part of this special couple’s wedding day.
